Is there an echo in here???

I got a call this morning from janet. Her hubby was sick & she needed a sub for her primary class. I was free, & kids are fun, so I said sure, I will sub for her. Then she told me it was the 5 year old class. Cool! Those kids are easy! Chris, ben & logan. Cake. Oh yeah, and echo, her step-grandaughter. (Sometimes nora too, but not today)
Well, even with echo, it should still be fun.
Harry got to give the scripture & prayer. He is so cute! (& didn't even make dolphin noises while up in front of everyone. Good self control harry!!)
I'm not sure what was going on today. I'm not normally in there, but the kids were so squirley in primary. It was so noisy and so many kids were getting up & walking around. I had maddie on my lap, & nora sitting next to me. Ben had to sit on my other side because he kept wresteling with logan. It was crazy.
I was glad when I had a chance to sneek off and try to find a working dvd player. I tried 2, & neither one worked. Too bad, I had a cartoon to show the leson about nephi building a boat. The kids had to settle for me just telling the story. Then I told them a story of a girl who kept the sabath day holy. I asked the kids what commandment she kept. They didn't know, so I told the story again. This time emphasising the comandment. Did they know the answer this time? No. So I told the story again. This time chris knew the answer, so the kids got to color. Man. What a busy day. I am wiped out. I just had to keep reminding myself that Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, and doesn't want me to strangle the sunbeams.
Hooray for sunday dinners & don & elly's!! We are just arriving in the yard now. Yay!
