yummy dinner

i would post a picture, but we ate it all.

We had hamburgers last night and since I still don't have enough Tupperware, the left over onions are making everything in the fridge smell like those onions.
So, I knew that I needed to use them up tonight. Dave loves the Diamond G brown rice so much that we can't eat white rice anymore. We got our very first rice cooker a few weeks ago and still can't believe we thought it was a good idea to never have one before... we LOVE our rice cooker!!!!! Sooo much!!!!

So, I knew that we would have brown rice and onions. And maybe chicken?

I started the rice and later on I got out the big new pan from Victoria Hobbs (thank so much Victoria!!!) I put some EVOO in the pan, and then I used the Pampered Chef Garlic Press & Harry wanted to help press some garlic. We got the garlic started and I added the left over shredded onions. I stirred those around a bit and then added 10BS chicken breast tenderloins.

I covered the pot and let the chicken brown on one side, then I sprinkled on *some* Pampered Chef Sun Dried Tomato Herb seasoning. (*some was like maybe 1/4 cup?)

I turned the chicken over and let it get all soft and cooked. Then I poured in a LARGE can of cream of mushroom soup, and about 1/4 cup of milk.

I let that simmer until the rice was done and it was really good. So good, that the fam didn't save any left overs. yay... easy yummy success!
