Wow, I can't believe it is the last week of school already! The Yearbook is done, and we finally got the first draft of "the list" done. (I say first draft, because now that we have sent it in, I am thinking of a ton of stuff I forgot about. Like our fish tank, and Dalin's snake tank, and the passports, and life vests, ... and the list goes on)
Dalin won the school election and will be the Treasurer for the student council next year! Yay Dallie!!! Way to go!
Jordie turned 15 and I took the boys to see UP in 3D on Saturday. GREAT MOVIE!!!
It was really cute and funny and sad and heartwarming. And Fenton's Ice Cream was in there too! Yummmm! (seriously, YUM) It was a movie that will become a family fave. Too bad Harry thought the 3D was cheesy. I'm not sure why he would say that, because I thought the 3D was amazing!!!! But he is 7, so he doesn't remember Captain Eo. We may have to take Dave to see it when we are on vacation.
Ohhh, I just can't wait for vacation! Only a few more days of school! I can totally enjoy this last week now that the yearbook is done. For real this time.
I got a call from the printer on Thursday and she said that my book looked great, but we were 2 pages short. Sooo, I had to whip up 2 more photo pages and send those in. I was @ school all day on Thursday to fix it. I totally thought I was gonna have a free day on my day off, but I did get the promotion certificates finished too. So now all we have to do this week is clean off all the P*** and other junk from the student computers and we are ready for vacation.
Oh, yes. I am not going to spell it out on this computer, cause Heaven only knows what kind of creeps will tag me for posting that word on here and start sending me junk. But lets just say that we caught some students corrupting their little minds with the big P word in MY computer lab. Oh, I was just sick about it. And as an added bonus, the Vice Principal and a teacher, on separate occasions said to me "oh my goodness, look at this!" and called me over and on two separate occasions I was dumb enough to look at the computer when they found the P*** the kids were looking at. (the second time I held my hand in front of the monitor so I didn't have to look at it)
Yikes. But seriously. How do the kids know how to get around the county firewall???? Well boys, have fun in Jr High and Highschool. Tell your moms I say good luck.
On a much lighter note, I got to teach the 7 year-olds in Primary yesterday. What a darling class. They were so good and cute and we had a great lesson on parents. There is a new kid in the ward and his cousin just moved in with him and they reminded me so much of Joey and Aaron Newell when they were little. I really miss that family!
And then I noticed that little Matthew Mecham looks EXACTLY like Elroy Jetson. Too bad none of the 7 year-olds knew who that was. Seriously.
don't they look the same???
